Bryn loved songs that were sung around Jacks Cub campfire…..
Woolshed Falls…….
A picnic by the lake ,Beechworth…..
Garath and Sandy had 5 days with us, then went on to Sydney, then we met them in Cairns on the 23rd July.
11 Girls together in a big house far away from normal responsibilities, leads to huge amounts of FUN!!! Our yearly retreat, is left to 2 each year ,to decide where, when and how. We go somewhere different each year, but this year was a leisurely drive into the hills to the beautiful town of Bright .
This the view of the back of the house, and from it.
The first night we all stay in , and have drinks have a meal and generally just catch up. 3 of us were still singstaring until 3:30 am.
started playing pool the ended up dancing on it ,as you do!
We had really pretty views out the back.
The Saturday night we all went out for dinner and some of us went to the pub ,a really fun night out.
It was quite interesting arriving in the car with 5 people and putting luggage in the back ,then to fit 7 people in the car on the way home ,with 7 peoples luggage. It’ s all well to seat 7 people, but we had a slight oversight as to where all the luggage was to fit…..yes we all nursed cases and and had bags piled up as high as we could, not so funny at the time when it wasn’t going to fit, but HILARIOUS now!
til next year…….
Full Lake Mulwala

Empty Lake Mulwala
We went for a drive over to Yarrawonga, as I had heard that the Lake was empty , so I thought it would interesting for the kids to see it like that. It was quite a site, it had a certain eeriness about it. Boys thought if we still had our metal detector it would have been great going around with it.
